Windows is that crappy aplication launcher that we
all love to hate, but all is not lost! There are dozens of little programs
out there, that can ease the pain and make Windows a better ...experience?
Some are top of the line code, ultra-cool and helpfull.
Anyone who knows me personally, knows that I'm anti-Windows,
and knows why. Maybe thats why we know so much about it... know your enemy? Well, WindowsXP is diferent. To anyone who knows what they are doing
with
a
PC, they should have WindowsXP, Professional Edition if possible. Home Edition is equaly good.
It's stable. It's updatable. It works. It may look like a joke, but it's not:

I'm writing this line in 9.April.2004.
My last WindowsXP installation happened at 20.May.2003, due to hard drive burnout.
I have the same WindowsXP installation running for 11 months now, without any
(ANY) problems. My system is working the same way the day it was installed.
Those who know Windows inside-out know that, after two or three months of hard work on Win98 (SE ex.), it really needs a format c: and a fresh installation.
This is what I call stability. Finally, Microsoft did something ok. It only took
a decade! I think it is as stable as Workbench on the Amiga, back in the 80s... and it was written in a week, by Jay Miner. And no, Bill "True Evil" Gates didn't pay me to write these words.
