but holidays are over, lots of work waits for me out there. Thanks
to my friends for the "get well" e-mails! Unforgettable!

| Ops! Um pequeno crash no meu pé
direito no passado dia 14 manteve-me no hospital até
agora! Só estou a escrever isto porque me deixaram passar
a frio. Se fores sensivel não leias aquela parte! Se
este site não for actualizado em 1 mês, é
porque quinei! LOL!!! |

Hackers
Attack White House Web Site
Hackers attacked the White House Web site Friday, resulting in
massive slowdowns, said the Bush administration and a company that
monitors the Internet. The perpetrators sent an enormous amount
of data toward the White House site, leaving it completely blocked
or difficult to access for about six hours. The White House said
no information on the site was altered or destroyed. (...)
Last weekend, hackers who federal officials believe are from China
vandalized Web sites operated by the departments of Labor and Health
and Human Services. A picture of Wang Wei, the Chinese pilot who
was killed in a collision with a U.S. Navy spy plane April 1, was
posted on Labor's Web site. in

Naked
Wife Virus Strips Down Computers
Users who cannot launch applications, cannot find .BMP, .COM, .DLL,
.EXE and .INI files, or who receive e-mail that says they have sent
others the NakedWife.exe attachment, are likely infected by the
virus.
The virus is also known as W32/Naked@MM and W32.HLLW.JibJab@mm.
Its most arresting alias, however, is the "Naked Wife"
-- largely because of the message the title carries promoting an
X-rated photo of someone's spouse.
Instead, the virus delivers a deadly attachment. The Naked Wife
virus functions both as a Trojan horse, because it poses as a harmless
attachment, and as a worm, because when the attachment is run it
deletes critical system files and replicates itself to everyone
in the user's Windows Outlook address book.
After sending itself to all addresses, the virus displays a dialog
box entitled "Flash" with the message: "You're now
F***ED! ©2001 by BGK (Bill Gates Killer)". in
Wireless NewsFactor
After this, why are people still using uncle bill's outlook, inviting
danger to dance? Darwin teach us that diversification means survival,
but people around the world KEEP using uncle bill's UNIQUE products...
if everybody is equal, when a virus come, everybody dies. You do
the maths.

Misshitsu: Some add-ons were added. Like the poll on the right!
Every month I'll put one new poll, if feedback justifies it. These
things work really nice and they are soo cool!
Netscape support updated, menus and other stuff, work ok now.
:: Saturday, March 10, 2001 ::
Misshitsu supports Netscape Navigator!
Netscape is a nice attempt to be another usable wannabe browser,
and anything that bugs uncle bill, well its fine by me. So there's
a Netscape option now, changing the java menu for a table menu.
Not as pretty but it works...

Playtesting is over - Misshitsu is officially open!
No bugs or faults were reported about the Psy Levels - many opinions,
yes, which will be considered in future levels. No reassemble of
the levels was needed. Thanks again to all Playtesters and
Supporters, this site exists with YOUR help!
Paulo "Usul" Reis, PORTUGAL
Fernando "Katana" Conceição, PORTUGAL
Robert, Jack and Max Ewing, IRELAND
Bruce "perCent" Mason, UK
Graeme Baxter, GLASGOW - SCOTLAND
Mikko Sandt, FINLAND
(Hey! and ME, who loves playing these levels beyond
999 frags! - Mama! Mama!)
:: Wednesday, March 7, 2001 - Updated @ 12h00 ::
I think we did it this time.
Misshitsu has now landed on Tripod.
The extras are ok. The speed is ok. The downloads are ok. Its part
of the excellent Lycos
system - hey! I think we're staying right here for good! At last,
a free host that doesn't suck in an entire week! (Obrigado Nelson!)
Test sites at First2Web, WebJump and FortuneCity are now officially
closed because they SUCKED in several ways. The guys at WebJump
DID answer my question to "why are YOUR adds delaying the loading
of MY pages so much that eventually it gives an error" - the
answer was "We apologize if this causes you any inconvenience
or lessens your enjoyment of our service". I didn't even answer
that.
Thanks to all who helped in Misshitsu "debugging"!
Unreal Levels will be available for download probably at the end
of this week, because no faults or bugs were found until now, so
no reassemble will be needed.
:: Monday, March 5, 2001 - Updated @ 17h00 ::
Updated the SETI page, Unreal Playtest, Unreal Levels.
Just waiting for one last playtester to say something about the
UT Levels before unleashing them to the world... Because they where
tested and tested before this "playtesting", no bugs or major flaws
were reported. I hope this last dude is still alive, and the game
hasn't popped his eyeballs out...
:: Saturday, March 3, 2001 - Updated @ 13h00::
Fact: Pages loading fast, Levels downloading slow. I hope to find
a host here I can put these and other UT goodies that I've made,
that can be faster for users to download files. I think FortuneCity
is the fastest opening web pages but unfortunately (pun intended)
it doesn't work with GetRight or similar download programs, and
its not possible to get the files from outside the FC server, like
for example me registering my levels on FilePlanet, it wouldn't
work, and error page appears.
:: Thursday, March 1, 2001 - Updated @ 22h00::
Thanks to great feedback and a little
trick or two, Misshitsu is now a bit faster to use. I hope it stays
like this for a while ;) Our current host is FortuneCity
and the URL:
http://members.fortunecity.com/psyboyo
As usual, if you find any slowdown on anything, any bug or broken
link, please report.
To do: Speed up the file downloads.
Quality is a right, not an option.
Unreal Levels are still restricted - access granted to playtesters
only for this week or so.
Unreal Levels now have clickable image thumbnails.
Corrected the 32 players command, it's: addbots 32
:: Wednesday, February 28, 2001 ::
Ok. I'm starting to get a little pissed
with bad Free Web Hosts. I think there is something wrong in WebJump,
because people are complaining about it... Could this be the trip
to another server? Possible. Misshitsu is already registered in
First 2 the Web
with the URL psy.f2w.net.
If you have problems downloading anything, or viewing any page,
go there instead. Let's see if I can fix things around here. Good
thing is that there are lots of hosts out there. Sorry for this.
Added Thumbnails to click in Unreal Levels.
:: Tuesday, February 27, 2001 :: Carnival - The Celebration
of the Flesh ::
Good-bye FortuneCity.
Hello WebJump.
For now.
GetRight
can do the downloads now... this was to me the most annoying thing
in FortuneCity - not being able to do this meant that probably I
would have problems registering the UT Levels in FilePlanet...
I hope this new host doesn't have any hidden rotten-Easter-eggs...
Soon: Direct Mail/Feedback at Misshitsu - no client-side e-mail
program necessary.
:: Monday, February 26, 2001 ::
Playtesting is on! The Psy Levels are
on site for download ONLY for playtesters. The UT Levels page is
temporarily restricted for everybody else. I hope to have the full
thing online in the next weekend for everybody.
:: Sunday, February 25, 2001 ::
Several updates. Unreal Tournament files are ready to go online.
I already know which sites Ill use to get the levels rated and distributed.
Finally. Although it never has been closed, the official opening
of Misshitsu is near now... metatags warming up!
:: Wednesday, February 21, 2001 ::
Menu update and reorganization. New Personal and Resume page. New
UT page. New Neverwinter Nights Test Guild page.
:: Saturday, February 17, 2001 ::
Major menu workout: yeah, it's a bit similar
of Graffiti.net, but it's so cool I just had to learn how they did
it, and how to do it. Bit complicated, but its working. Graffity.net
is nice because they give you 20 megs AND have a cool Menu system.
But reading mails and downloading attachments is SO slow, that its
not really useful. Hotmail and Yahoo still strong me thinks.
:: Saturday, February 3, 2001 ::
Another Saturday, another log entry. Our
Neverwinter Nights guild is shaping up, we got the new 3rd Edition
Dungeons and Dragons Core Rulebooks - oh boy, I really want to see
this working on the net... will be only one of two: good or bad.
There's no prize for second place, as there are too much good
online games nowadays, and Neverwinter must crush every competition
if it wants to stand out... the good thing is that they know
this, so this game promises to kick ass.
Careful, Diaspora
is a crappy little vicious online game that keeps you playing hours
at night - too addictive. It has some server problems once
in a while, which gives you a chance to snap out of it... for some
time. Its crappy, because, well, it's a bit chaotic and unstable.
:: Saturday, January 27, 2001 ::
Doing a site, bit by bit, every week,
isn't a good method,
but it it's not the ideas that are missing here, its time to put
them to work. We're thinking making our Neverwinter Nights guild
right here. Hell, there's 100 mb to waist!...
Misshitsu, house of secrets, will continue without imagery until
it has a solid content. Future galleries will include personal ink
draws, 3D renders, wallpapers... but that's not a priority yet.
Take a look at The
Thin H Line, where you can find Manga with a twist ;)
:: Saturday, January 20, 2001 ::
New: Finally a working counter! Maybe
I'll stay a while around Fortune City... if you detected any bugs
or slow downs on Misshitsu, please report em all! (psychomind@hotmail.com)
I'm working in my spare time on a Diablo II page, a shiny new Sacrifice
page (shiny - get it??) and forthcoming Neverwinter Nights...
:: Sunday, January 14, 2001 ::
New: Downloads page emptied up! Split
in two sections: My Unreal Tournament Levels (not yet for download)
and my Favorite Modifiers for the Game.
I'm thinking about moving to another web server, cause this one
doesn't have what it needs for one to have a decent counter (CGI-Bin),
and the option Fortune City gives to its users isn't working as
you can see for yourself at the end of this page... humph... that's
one reason for this site not being officially open, with all the
files and stuff.
:: Friday, January 12, 2001 ::
New: Downloads page filled up.
:: Thursday, January 11, 2001 ::

Finally!
Alleluia! Fortune City system finally works (I think there's a
bug somewhere). At last, I'm coding the final instance of my site.
It has been a long time since I start playing around with Front
Page Express and end up with this.
